Oh the Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we went to the pumpkin patch with Reese's joy school.  We went last year and Reese loved it, so I was excited to go again this year, especially with Benson being so obsessed with pumpkins!  The first thing Benson did when we got there was freak out because there was a giant scarecrow you had to walk under to enter, my pool little scared boy.  I finally had to pick him up and carry him in because he refused to walk under the scarecrow. 

As soon as we were in past the scarecrow he was running around enjoying the great country air!  Reese drove the tractor.  Benson tried to push her and everyone else off but he was just too small and couldn't push his way past the big kids. 

They both loved the hay ride.  Benson was all smiles the whole time and pointing and naming everything he saw.

They both LOVED the bounce houses/slides.  I thought Benson was way too small for the slide but he proved me wrong.  He watched Reese do it once and then had to try it out for himself.

He was a little slow on the climb up and lots of the kids got impatient waiting for him to climb all the way to the top, but thankfully none of them bumped him and sent him sliding to the bottom of this very tall and very steep slide.

On the way down, pure bliss!  They were both in heaven and we spent forever at this slide.  I seriously think this was the highlight of their day!

I totally forgot the name of this thing but they loved riding around and around on it, until some big kids jumped on and made it really fly.  Reese looked super nervous and this very pregnant lady had to slow that darn thing down so Reese could get off.

Then we headed over to find the largest pumpkin we could find and take a picture with it.  Benson was so excited about how many pumpkins there were.  He tried rolling and pushing them everywhere.  Thankfully his muscles aren't very developed yet and he had a rough time moving the pumpkins.

Reese doesn't like to sit and look at the camera anymore but thankfully she sat for me for 5 seconds and actually looked at the camera and attempted a smile, which is better than what she usually does.

Reese loves her joy school and loves going and learning twice a week.  She also loves her little friends and is always wanting to go and play with her friends, she is my little Miss Social.
