Bear Lake

The last week of our stay in Utah my family headed to Bear Lake.  Unfortunately, Ben wasn't done with his internship so he couldn't come with us.

Bear Lake is one of my all time favorite places.  My family has gone there for as long as I can remember.

The first day we went to the pool and had a picnic out on the lawn.  I didn't grab my camera to go swimming {it's a little hard to take pictures when you are trying to watch both kids by yourself}
Benson was seriously dirty or sticky the whole time we were in Utah.  I don't think I have seen a messier child than my little Benson
The next day we spent at the beach.  Unfortunately, the beach we usually go to was littered with very large rocks, but the kids didn't seem to mind much.

After relaxing on the beach for a while we went for a ride on the boat.  Reese and Benson love the boat.
By the end of the day Benson was exhausted.  Little did he know we were going to do it all over again the next day.

On our last day at Bear Lake my dad, the boat driver, was sick so we decided to hike up to Bloomington Lake.

Once you got up into Bloomington Lake there is a rope swing and my brother braved the cold and went in.
We had a blast at Bear Lake with my family.  Reese did not want to leave but we were all exhausted by the end of the week.  The only thing that could have made Bear Lake perfect would have been to have Ben there with us.
