Touch-A-Truck

Honestly and seriously I never knew that Chick-fil-A was so awesome!  Every Tuesday night the Chick-fil-A just down the road from us has family night and you can usually get free food and they have a bounce house set up and there is always something fun for the kids to do.  You can't get much better than that!

This past Saturday, Chick-Fil-A hosted Touch-A-Truck and they had all sorts of different trucks come and the kids could climb up inside of the trucks, act like they were driving, and honk the horn.  Reese and Benson loved it!  Just kidding, Reese loved it and Benson was too scared to climb up inside of the trucks.  He did climb inside the fire truck but after that I think he realized that there were strangers helping him and he didn't want to get up in any of the other trucks.  He has a bad case of stranger danger!

After Reese climbed up inside of all of the trucks and honked their horns, we headed inside to get our food.  If the kids donated a toy truck they could get a free kids meal so they generously donated a truck to Chick-Fil-A.
They were so nice to give our kids cow hats and for the rest of the day all Reese wanted to do was act like a cow!  We had the missionaries over for dinner that night and all she did was talk "moo".  The missionaries got a kick out of her.  She's a hoot!
As we were getting read to leave the Chick-Fil-A Cow was walking around giving high fives and hugs!  Reese and Benson were so excited to see him Reese ran up to him and gave him a big hug.  Then the cow came over and gave Tanner a high five.  Then the cow headed Benson's way...  He was all smiles until the cow reached him, when he realized that the Cow wanted a hug he started screaming bloody murder!  Poor boy was terrified of the Chick-Fil-A Cow!  Who knew a man dressed up as a cow could be so terrifying for a two year old boy!
