One of Reese's favorite books is Fancy Nancy. The little girl in the book loves to be fancy and she tries to teach her family to be fancy. Well every day Reese pretends that she is Fancy Nancy. She colors pictures and hangs them up around the house and tells us that she is going to teach us to be fancy.
In the book Fancy Nancy, her family dress up all fancy and they go out to dinner and have pizza and parfaits. And so every day we pretend that we go out to dinner and eat at Kings Crown {because that is where Nancy and her family eat} and we eat pizza and parfaits.
We finally decided that we needed to make all of this pretending become a reality for Reese because she has seriously been stuck on Fancy Nancy for weeks.
Friday night we all dressed up in our fancy clothes and told Reese we had a surprise for her.
Ben and Benson went and got pizza from Little Caesars and me and Reese made a sign for our kitchen.
When Ben and Benson got home we ate our delicious pizza from Kings Crown and we all used our best manners and ate with our pinkies up and we called each other darling.
Some of us had better manners than others . . .
After dinner we had parfaits with sprinkles and boy were they delicious!
I love Reese's vivid imagination. It is always so interesting to see what she comes up with every day. It definitely keeps life interesting. We love our fancy Reesie girl and are so grateful that she gets excited about the small things that we do together as a family.
